Emotional Fine motor: To encourage your children to develop hand strength and pincer grasp (ability to hold small objects with thumb and forefinger) by using craft materials such as scissors, drawing materials.

Required Materials:

  • Download PDF of instructions
  • Pieces of different colour felt (as many as you want)
  • Scissors
  • Keyring
  • Markers
  • Regular glue

Optional Materials:

  • Fabric glue
  • Hot glue gun
  • Needle and thread

Directions

  1. Cut felt strip out of template.
  2. Fold strip in half over key ring and glue halves to together.
  3. Glue folded strip together, securing the keyring in the fold.
  4. Get creative! Cut custom shapes out of a variety of felt colours to decorate your Camp Charm Tag.
  5. Glue charms in place onto one or both sides of your Camp Charm Tag.
  6. Using markers, add details to embellish your charms and tag.
  7. Put your craft together with glue or needle and thread
